Westport Book Shop is an independent non-profit used book shop located in Westport, Connecticut, dedicated to supporting the Westport Library while providing meaningful employment for adults with disabilities. With more than 5,000 gently used and antiquarian books, as well as vintage vinyl records, CDs, and DVDs, the shop offers a diverse selection across over 30 categories.
The shop also features a dedicated space for local artists through its Drew Friedman Art Place, hosting monthly exhibits and receptions. Through community support and donations, Westport Book Shop continues to thrive as a valuable year-round resource for book lovers and art enthusiasts alike.

They employ people that have disabilities to provide them with actual work experience and they have really nice books for very cheap! A lot of children's books as well. Everyone is so nice there...

A genuine find for those of us who prefer books that have been on a journey. There is a lovely atmosphere and the shop trains and employs people with disabilities.
