Erica Weiss is a Jeff-nominated theatre director, independent filmmaker, and television writer-producer based in Chicago, Illinois. As the co-creator and co-showrunner of CBS's "The Red Line," she is dedicated to the development of new work and amplifying female voices in the arts.

With a strong background in directing, Weiss has collaborated with notable playwright Caitlin Parrish on acclaimed productions such as "The Burials" at Steppenwolf Theatre and "The Downpour" for Route 66 Theatre Company. A graduate of The Theatre School at DePaul University, she has also worked with many of Chicago's prominent Equity houses and smaller storefront companies.
