The Wallingford Historic Preservation Trust (WHPT) is a 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to preserving the architectural and cultural history of Wallingford, Connecticut. Established in 1991, WHPT serves as the owner and caretaker of the historic Royce House and the American Silver Museum at the Franklin Johnson Mansion.
WHPT’s mission focuses on acquiring, preserving, interpreting, and educating the public about historic structures and the silver manufacturing heritage of the region from 1840 to 1980. Through various events and community engagement, the Trust aims to present a more accurate portrayal of Wallingford's rich history.
