Founded in 1978, Literacy Volunteers of Central Connecticut (LVCC) is dedicated to transforming the lives of learners and their families through student-centered approaches that enhance language proficiency, career development, and educational advancement. Serving over 300 individuals annually with the support of more than 100 volunteers, LVCC empowers adults to improve their English skills in reading, writing, and speaking, enabling them to achieve their personal and professional goals.
LVCC also focuses on family literacy programs, equipping parents with the necessary skills to support their children's educational success and improve their families' financial stability.
