Wellspring Community Center, formerly known as Turkish Cultural Center of Connecticut has donated 240 lbs of Meat, half to Beth-El Center and other half to Milford Food Bank at Milford Senior Center. There was a ceremony which took place at Milford City Hall on Thursday, Sept 05, 2019. Omer Kizilcik, president of Wellspring Community Center delivered a speech about their tradition, the importance of the event and the idea behind it. Later on, Mayor Blake, State Rep. Kathy Kennedy and representatives from recipients of this donation delivered short remarks.
