ABOUT LIBRARY Mission: to provide the best possible informational, educational, cultural and recreational services in a warm and inviting environment. During 2009/2010, the Library had 49, 206 visitors, loaned 86, 895 items, answered 15, 837 reference questions, provided 3, 595 hours of computer use to 3, 711 patrons, hosted 1, 385 meetings, and shared stories and programs with 4, 851 children & families. The Thompson Public Library/Community Center is a 20, 400 square foot facility. The collection consists of about 55, 000 items books, audio tapes & CDs, videotapes & DVDs, music CDs, 100+ magazine & newspaper subscriptions, and access to various online resources.
