The Harold Leever Regional Cancer Center is a joint venture partnership between Saint Mary's Hospital and Waterbury Hospital. The center is a nonprofit entity that manages on-site private medical oncology practices. It offers prevention, diagnosis, treatment, educational and support services for cancer patients. The Harold Leever Regional Cancer Center also provides chemotherapy, positron emission tomography, dynamic intensity modulated radiation therapy and prostate seed implantation solutions. The center offers access to a variety of support groups for patients and their families. In addition, it provides pastoral guidance and nutritional services. The Harold Leever Regional Cancer Center promotes and participates in cancer clinical trials.
