History

Studio on Main opened in its present form in May of 2013. I went to massage school out West - in Port Townsend, WA and have been a licensed, practicing massage therapist since 2003. A couple of years ago I picked up a camera and began exploring more of my artsy side. I had an opportunity to travel around the country for many months and used the time to teach myself more about photographing landscapes and people. Some of my fine art prints have been sold to folks as far away as Australia, England and Scotland and even hung in an art gallery in Maine. The studio is a peaceful, welcoming and non-judgmental space for you to come for your next massage or portrait.

Specialties

Tania Palermo's Studio on Main offers Therapeutic Massage and Portrait Photography services in an art studio. There is Fine Art photography for sale on the walls and the front room is often used to host workshops and events. A long term vision and goal of the studio is to be a for profit - non profit, functioning as a community center in addition to what is already offered. I believe in supporting other local artists and have just completed a season of building an evening farmer's market in town with another local resident. All massage and photography session are by appointment Tuesday-Saturday. If I am not in an appointment the red OPEN sign will be on the porch and I welcome you to pop in and say hello.
