Lime Rock Park

Lime Rock Park, founded in 1957, offers a racing track for various competitions. The first event at the track was the Little Le Mans endurance race. Its first ever cosanctioned event by International Motor Sports Association and Sports Car Club of America was the Dodge Dealers Grand Prix. Lime Rock was the site for the debut of the North American Touring Car Championship. The American Le Mans Series made its first trip into the Northeast at Lime Rock and the Formula BMW USA series debuted at the Road Racing Center of the East. Its race club functions as a staff support organization for Lime Rock Park during the major events, and offers various services, such as coordinating the midway information booth, organizing driver autograph sessions, transporting drivers to the winner s circle, and coordinating the ceremony. The racing track also offers on-site gourmet dining in chalets and tents for all the meals of the day. It is located in Lakeville, Conn.
