Academy of Mount St. Ursula, a girl s Catholic college preparatory school, was established in 1855 and is located in Bronx, N.Y. The school is one of the oldest continuous Catholic high schools for girls in New York, and is owned and administered by the Ursuline Sisters of the Roman Union. It has a faculty and staff of more than 50 people, including Ursuline Sisters, and a student body of over 500. The school offers a teacher-student ratio of 1-to-15, and an average class size of up to 25 students. Its curriculum includes a variety of subjects, such as religion, English, science, social studies, foreign language, mathematics, art and music, physical education, and business studies. Academy of Mount St. Ursula also offers advance placement courses, including English, Spanish language and literature, biology, calculus, United States history, and Latin.

Long Beach Catholic Regional School provides education for students in pre-kindergarten through grade eight. The school s curriculum includes math, science, social studies, computer technology, Spanish, language arts, English, music and religious education. It maintains a library that houses a range of books and study materials. In addition, Long Beach Catholic Regional School offers guidance counseling and nursing services. The school has a student council and choir, as well as governs a newspaper club. It provides opportunities for students to participate in basketball tournaments. Long Beach Catholic Regional School also operates a parents club that supports several activities. The school administers the Title I program and organizes field trips.
