St John's Catholic School

Established in 1961, Northwest Catholic High School is a coeducational, college preparatory school. It is accredited by the New England Association of Schools and Colleges and is approved by the State of Connecticut. It offers classes from grades nine through 12 and has an enrollment of more than 600 students. The school also has several workstations in science labs, library, art studio, guidance office and publications room. It offers honors program in English, math, science, social studies, language and religion. It also offers advanced-placement courses in computer science, biology, chemistry, physics, calculus, French, Latin, Spanish and studio art. Located in West Hartford, Conn., Northwest Catholic High School is a member of the Connecticut Interscholastic Athletic Conference and encourages athletic programs in freshman, junior varsity and varsity levels.

Corpus Christi School is a Catholic community that focuses on incorporating Christian values and academics in students through the integration of traditional and modern teaching methods. The school has an enrollment of more than 400 students each year. It serves students from prekindergarten through grade eight. The school follows the guidelines set forth by the Archdiocesan Office of Catholic Schools and its curriculum includes many academic subjects, such as mathematics, reading, language arts, science and social studies. Its students also participate in gym, art, music and library activities. Corpus Christi School s facility includes art and music rooms and science and computer laboratories. The school, located in Wethersfield, Conn., conducts a variety of special educational, cultural, and health and safety programs throughout the year. It organizes a drug and alcohol prevention program in partnership with the Wethersfield Police Department. Corpus Christi School s after-school program provides students with various educational creative activities.
