Sisk Brothers Funeral Home

Sisk Brothers Funeral Home began serving the Greater New Haven area in 1870 at it's first location on Grand Ave. in New Haven. After many years at this location, there was a need for a larger facility. So, Sisk Brothers moved to 128 Dwight St. in New Haven where they served generations of families in need. The Home on Dwight St. was a beautiful and functional facility that served the area well for many years. In 1977, the Sisk family saw a need to expand to the town of Hamden. Many families who they had served had moved to the communities of Hamden, North Haven, Cheshire, Woodbridge and Bethany. Building a new facility in the Mount Carmel section of Hamden could now serve these areas with ease and convenience. The Sisk Brothers Funeral Home at 3105 Whitney Ave. in Hamden provides a large parking lot, Handicap restrooms and ample size chapels to serve all aspects of funeral service.
