Shifting Tides, a private counseling service is owned and led by Margaret Canada, National Board Certified Licensed Professional Counselor(NBCC, LPC). In practice for 15 years specialization includes domestic abuse, emotional trauma, relationship concerns, divorce, bereavement and life transitions. Confidential sessions are conducted in a comfortable office environment utilizing Cognitive Behavioral Therapy(CBT) and other eclectic approaches. With heartfelt compassion and warmth Margaret conveys understanding and support, encouraging the client to honor and trust in themselves and recognize transformation as a Process of Healing through Emotional Support, Changing Attitudes, and Personal Growth.
