XL Center is one of the leading destinations for sports and entertainment events. The center hosts a wide variety of events and concerts, family shows, ice-skating programs, consumer events and trade shows throughout the year. Located in Hartford, Conn., the center has organized more than 550 concerts. XL Center has also organized music concerts by more than 250 performers, including the Rolling Stones, Elton John, Billy Joel, Bon Jovi, Eric Clapton, Janet Jackson, Rod Stewart, Andrea Bocelli, Britney Spears, Crosby, Stills, and Neil Diamond. Its annual attractions include ringling brothers and Barnum and bailey, sesame street live, world wrestling entertainment, stars on ice, John Hancock s champions on ice, the Hartford bridal expo and the original Connecticut home show. Additionally, the center hosts special events, such as Entry Draft and All Star Game, World Figure Skating Championships, National Basketball Association and Women's National Basketball Association programs, Championship Boxing, National Collegiate Athletic Association Tournament, WrestleMania, and Disney annual shareholders meeting.
