I have been an acupuncturist for over 20 years, and am the first acupuncturist to have been licensed by the State of Connecticut. My primary practice is in Japanese Meridian Therapy, where the focus is on treating deep constitutional imbalances to make the body whole. By doing so, many symptoms can be resolved by simply balancing a client's energy. I specialize in the treatment of sports injuries, migraines, digestive, respiratory, neurological, and emotional disorders. Acupuncture can be a great support for those undergoing chemotherapy and radiation treatments. I treat fertility issues and other problems associated with pregnancy. I also specialize in pediatric techniques (which do not involve insertion of needles) to treat things such colic, behavior issues, and illnesses that can present long-term challenges, such as mononucleosis. Among some rather unique modalities I employ are Yamamoto New Scalp Acupuncture and auricular therapy, most notably, Battlefield Acupuncture. The entire body can be treated via these modalities. If you'd like more information regarding whether acupuncture can successfully treat a particular illness or condition, please give me a call; chances are, it most likely will!
