Community Enterprises, also known as CEI, supports the self-determination of individuals with disabilities. It serves patients with mental retardation, autism, substance abuse, dual diagnosis and physical disabilities. The organization operates more than 15 locations throughout Massachusetts, Connecticut and New York. Community Enterprises also provides supported employment and living, case management and volunteer services. It offers the Community Functional Skills Program. The organization additionally provides a range of housing and support solutions to consumers of the Department of Mental Retardation. Community Enterprises employs a staff of more than 225 individuals. It has received the Best Practices Award and conducts workplace campaigns.
