Artwork, Mirrors, and other decorative wall hangings like Tapestries, Clocks, Antique Clock faces, Game boards, Oars, Japanese and Chinese screens, Plates, Floating Shelves, Bulletin Boards, Towel bars, Towel rings, Toilet paper holders, Robe and Coat Hooks, and Window treatments. Basically, anything that hangs on the wall is fair game short of flat screen televisions and a house of window treatments. We have done both but prefer not to. We are not licensed for any electrical work, however we can install plug-in surface mounted reading lights and sconces as well as picture lights. We are insured and can forward a certificate of insurance if needed. We will need the relevant information for the COI to be issued. We carry a variety of hardware, suitable for 95% of the jobs we are called into. We do not charge for standard hardware. There are times where special or unique hardware is required that must be obtained and/or manufactured. We charge for the time required to obtain and/or manufacture this hardware at our standard hourly rate. We do not carry plate hangers. We ask that plate hangers be obtained by the client. We prefer to hang without wire, which is much better for the frame and the wall. For large, heavy pieces, we consider it a requirement. A standard practice for us is to confirm the positioning of the hardware on each piece so that it is identical on both sides. It does make a difference in how the piece hangs...
