Established in 1922, Plainville Electrical Products Company, also known as PEPCO, is a designer and manufacture of electrical distribution panel boards. Based in Bristol, Conn., the company provides electrical switchboards for nuclear submarines in the U. S. Navy and for other military shipboard requirements. It offers a wide array of electrical distribution and control solutions/systems, including a complete line of gas turbine engine control systems, retractable train bridge Catenary controls, nuclear fuel handling systems, Navy simulators, industrial cranes and automated fish farms.
