Hartford Public High School is governed by Hartford Public Schools. The school, located in Hartford, Conn., offers educational services to more than 1,400 students in grades nine through 12. It provides instruction in various academic areas, such as algebra, biology, English, American history, chemistry, vocational education, arts, reading, writing, mathematics and world languages. It offers a before- and after-school program, McDecca child care program, which intends to provide child care and developmentally appropriate enrichment activities. The school s library stocks various reading and reference materials. Its Link and Learn Program increases student achievement through the understanding of environmental and cultural connections.
