The Newtown Volunteer Ambulance Corps (NVAC) is a dedicated team of 45 trained Emergency Medical Technicians who volunteer their time to provide essential medical services to the Newtown, CT community. Covering over 60 square miles, NVAC is recognized as one of the most active volunteer EMS providers in the region, responding to more than 3,500 calls and contributing 30,000 volunteer hours annually.

To enhance their services, NVAC operates four ambulances for Basic Life Support and contracts for a paramedic to provide Advanced Life Support around the clock. As the town continues to grow, NVAC seeks dedicated professionals to join their ranks and offers an annual Emergency Medical Technician Course to train new members.
