Shepaug Valley Middle School serves students in grades six through eight. Its academic curriculum includes science, social studies, math, English and reading. Established in 1983, South Kent School is a college preparatory institute for ninth through 12th grade boys. Located in South Kent, Conn., the school offers a range of programs in English, mathematics, history, foreign language, science, art, media, drama and music. It also provides various athletic activities which include baseball, basketball, hockey and volleyball. South Kent School is accredited by the New England Association of Schools and Colleges and a member of the National Association of Independent School.

Trinity-Pawling School operates upper and middle schools. It offers an extensive curriculum that includes arts, computer science, English, foreign language, mathematics, music, religion, science and social study. Its ports activities include football, cross country and soccer. The school s library provides a wide variety of resources and materials, such as references, databases, dictionaries, magazines and also offers computers with Internet access. Its parent-teacher organization is comprised of parents, teachers and community members and works together to enhance and enrich the lives of children in the community.
