We at Waters Edge Center for Health and Rehabilitation focus on healing so the joys of daily living can be celebrated. Our center provides post-acute rehabilitation and long-term care services, including a myriad of medical and therapy services. We offer around-the-clock care for those living with chronic illnesses and disabilities. Wadsworth Glen Health Care and Rehabilitation Center provides both medical and emotional health care to its residents, including long-term care, respite and rehabilitative care. It offers physical, occupational and speech therapy, orthopedic rehabilitation, surgical recovery, and a variety of comprehensive care services, including cardiac recovery, stroke and neurological rehabilitation, personalized care plans, home site evaluation and safety planning, and weekly progress review meeting. Variety of amenities and services offered by the center include a selective menu, formal dining rooms, beauty and barbershop, library, patio, gift shop, newspaper and mail service, and telephone and cable television. It also offers recreational, cultural and volunteer services, and scheduled outings to local events, restaurants and shops. Wadsworth Glen Health Care and Rehabilitation Center is part of the Athena Health Care Systems, and is headquartered in Middletown, Conn.
