History

I've been providing informal history and food tours of this area for years, but this year decided to try building a unique small-group local tour business. My grandfather was a Naval officer who retired to Mystic in the 1960s. I have been visiting this area since I was a child, and recently moved here full time. I have always been amazed at the fascinating variety of culinary delights, culture, history, maritime sights and more. I decided to start small-group local tours to 'reveal' the unique charm of the area to visitors.

We provide fun guided tours and food tours that feature highlights of Mystic, Connecticut a charming seaside New England village. Tours are led by passionate locals and feature the history, the food, the drink and the local culture of this hidden gem halfway between New York and Boston. Lobster rolls, oysters, craft beer, local wine, sea captain's homes, colonial history and more!
