just checking in at Mohawk. Did not ski this trip. However... I grew up learning to ski here in the early 60's (maybe 50s?) and remember growing stronger (and more bent) with that heavy rope tow....

Since 1947, Mohawk Mountain Ski Area has been one of the leading snow resorts in Connecticut. It is a family business, private corporation working in partnership with the Connecticut Department of Environmental Protection at Mohawk State Park. The firm offers private/daily lessons, ski/snowboard packages, children/women specific programs and Jr. Race team. It makes available 24 trails for skiing and snowboarding. In addition, Mohawk Mountain Ski Area utilizes state-of-the-art snow making equipment, five chairlifts and two wonder carpet for beginners, as well as various amenities for all snow sport enthusiasts.
