Marine Science Magnet High School

Canton Middle School offers a variety of educational and enrichment programs for students in grades seven and eight. It teaches various subjects, including English, math, science, social studies, health education, language arts, Spanish, French, computer science, music, arts and crafts, and physical education. The school also provides various special education programs for students with special needs. It has athletic teams for basketball, baseball, cheerleading, cross-country, hockey, soccer, softball and wrestling. The school also provides guidance and individual and group counseling to students. Its parent-teacher association organizes and participates in various school events, such as fund-raisers, and band and chorus concerts. Located in Canton, Conn., the school is part of Canton Public Schools.

Broad Rock Middle School offers education to students in grades six through eight. Its academic curriculum includes mathematics, science, social studies, arts and physical education. The school also provides classes in band, orchestra, computer literature, robotics, and family and consumer sciences. It also offers a range of sports activities that include badminton, bowling, wrestling, basketball, volleyball, cross country, and track and field. Additionally, it organizes various extracurricular programs that include yearbook, student council, drama club, geography bee, dance club, talent show and the National Junior Honor Society. Broad Rock Middle School also has a parent-teacher organization that organizes a variety of fundraising programs. It is a part of South Kingstown Schools.
