The Ledyard Up-Down Sawmill in Ledyard, Connecticut is a rare surviving example of a water-powered up-and-down sawmill, restored to operating condition in the 1970s. Visitors can witness sawing demonstrations and explore various mill artifacts, including a blacksmith shop, circular sawmill, shingle machine, and ice harvesting tools.
