Cheshire's Lights of Hope Inc is a local non-profit organization based in Cheshire, CT. Established in 2005, the organization has been dedicated to bringing together the community through their annual luminary event. Over the past 17 years, they have raised over $1.1 million for local charities and students in the Cheshire community, supporting organizations such as the Cheshire Community Food Pantry, Cheshire Youth and Social Services, and The Petit Family Foundation. With the help of hundreds of volunteers and generous sponsors, Cheshire's Lights of Hope has made a significant impact on the community, leaving a lasting legacy of volunteerism. However, after much consideration, the organization has announced that their luminary event on November 12, 2022, will be their final one. Despite their decision, they hope that other individuals or groups will step up to continue supporting the worthwhile organizations they have been supporting for many years.
