History

Roecker opened her first shop in 2009 on Old Turnpike Road. The 400 sq ft facility, with 2 tubs, was the perfect place to start. Due to large demand they outgrew the space sooner than expected. In 2014 Roecker actively started looking for a new space. It took four years to find the perfect location. The new facility is quite a change from the early days. The shop on Canal Street is 2800 sq ft. With 3 grooming stations, they are able to keep up with their busy schedules. The new self-wash station offers clients the opportunity to groom their own pets with supplies provided by the shop. Many dog handlers are on staff at all times to accommodate all the dogs during playtime. When dogs are not playing in the climate controlled indoor play area, they are walked on Farmington Canal Heritage Trail.
