He is the physician champion for congestive heart failure and has helped Stamford Hospital achieve the Gold Award for heart failure in the AHA Get with the Guidelines Program. He serves as Chairman of the Bioethics Committee and is editor of The Pulse, the physicians’ quarterly newsletter of the Stamford Health Heart & Vascular Institute. He lives in Greenwich with his wife and two children.
