Phenomenonal Peruvian food. They nail every dish and sauce. Sweet staff who hustles. Casual table service, always packed at mealtime. They're very popular and it's small, so plan accordingly.

Finally tying this spot after a long wait! So delicious! The lunch menu is an excellent value so this may become my go-to lunch spot! I had the Red Noodles with beef with a chicken noodle soup....

Lomo Saltado and Pollo a la Brasa were legitimately terrific (the plantains were unbelievable). Very nice staff. Excited to go back and try the whole menu.

It was like being back in Perú! Me and my friends shared ceviche and papa relleno. The fish was sooo fresh and just the perfect amount of citrus. My only complaint is that there was way too much...

On the one hand nobody really expects to find a Peruvian place in New Haven, and on the other hand it could just be the perfect hidden little gem. Icaru ended up being somewhere in the middle....
