The Glebe House Museum and Gertrude Jekyll Garden, located in the historic village center of Woodbury, CT, is one of the earliest historic house museums in the nation. Built around 1740, the house features a unique combination of gambrel and saltbox roof styles and was once home to Woodbury's first Anglican priest, John Rutgers Marshall.

This museum offers visitors a glimpse into 18th-century life through its outstanding regional furniture collection and beautifully maintained gardens. With a variety of tours, educational programs, and special events, the Glebe House continues to celebrate its rich history and cultural significance.

Loved it! We had a great tour. She was very knowledgeable. It is so cool to step back in time....Gorgeous gardens too.

I visited the gardens it was 9/21/23 so I wasn't expecting much. I was actually surprised to see a few flowers. They apologized, because apparently the Garden's were under construction. The house...
