Spent the afternoon walking the white trail and the red trail. Trails were well marked and wide enough to walk without any issues. The trail was hilly in some spots but not exhaustively hilly....

Wonderful park for cookouts and swimming in season or for hiking around the lake anytime of year. I recommend hiking the The Split Rock trail which is not difficult and is only about an hour long...

Very nice park park rangers are attentive which is good to know in case something goes down. You can tell between drought and storms and gypsy moth infestations that the forest is suffering a bit.
