Fairfield Social Service Department

The Public Communications Office is a part of the Community Services Department, which is administered by the Town of West Hartford in Connecticut. The office provides public information through the use of a variety of communication tools, including the Internet, cable television, news media, special events, publications and person-to-person collaborations. It develops public awareness campaigns that are aimed at clarifying complex issues, providing seasonal reminders, engaging citizens, improving the town s image, and changing and reinforcing behaviors. The Community Services Department is responsible for the maintenance and preservation of the town s infrastructure and ensuring the quality of private development in the community.
