In 1984 Jack decided to retire and Ralph brought his son, David A. Forgione, into the management of the business. Shortly thereafter David was made President and he remains in that capacity today. In the mid-1980s F & F Concrete decided to concentrate on expanding its readi-mix production. The concrete plant was originally located on Buckland Street in Plantsville, Connecticut while the garage was located nearby at 110 West Main Street. In 1989, F & F Concrete moved its production to a new Erie-Strayer concrete batching plant at its 110 West Main Street property.Throughout its history F & F has updated its plant operations and fleet. Its batching operations are completely automated utilizing the Alkon Corporation's concrete batching system in coordination with computerized dispatching and billing software and a combination computerized and radio-contact truck tracking system.

For over a century, The Suzio York Hill Companies have supplied ready mix concrete products, asphalt, and other material products to Connecticut's construction industry. While they directly service south central Connecticut (Hartford to New Haven), their reputation for providing excellent quarried materials that are tailored to the specifications of each project is known throughout the state. The company was started by Leonardo Suzio, an Italian immigrant who expanded his humble construction business into road building, as well as major residential and commercial building projects. After specializing in road construction during the 1930's, The Suzio York Hill Companies transitioned to a building materials supply business after World War II, and they're still going strong over 110 years later. The Suzio York Hill Companies product line includes several kinds of concrete (self-consolidating, fiber reinforced, ready-mix, and fibrous concrete), flowable fill, crushed trap rock, and asphalt, while supplying for both commercial and residential construction projects, as well as roads and highways. Their ordering and delivery system is efficient and easy to navigate, and their delivery trucks are radio-dispatched to get customer orders moving right away. Their delivery range covers central Connecticut from Madison to Milford and New Haven, and as far north as Rocky Hill. Many high-profile buildings and institutions in central Connecticut have been supported by The Suzio York Hill Companies, such as the Enterprise Building in Wallingford, the Westfield Bridge in Meriden; and Yale University's History of Art building. In addition, The Suzio York Hill Companies foster community spirit by supporting local non-profit organizations like the Meriden Daffodil Festival.
