Ebony Horsewomen

Ebony Horsewomen (EHI) is a unique urban riding center located in Hartford, Connecticut. Since 1984, they have been dedicated to serving the community by providing equine-assisted psychotherapy, therapeutic riding, and various youth programs.

EHI offers equine-assisted psychotherapy services directly to clients and provides professional development programs for therapists, horse specialists, and college students. Their community youth programs focus on equine care, physical fitness, emotional well-being, and building relationships through working with horses. With an indoor ring and access to 15 miles of beautifully maintained trails in Keney Park, EHI offers group and individual riding lessons for beginners to advanced riders of all ages.
