The Douglas Manor is a 90-bed nursing and rehabilitation facility and is accredited by the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations. The facility occupies an area of more than 10 acres that offers special care and rehabilitation for people with illnesses, injuries, strokes and surgeries. Its rehabilitation unit offers therapy programs for orthopedic and cardiovascular surgeries, prolonged hospitalization and neurological damage. Its physical therapy consists of mobility training, therapeutic exercise and modalities. Located in Wingham, Conn., the Douglas Manor is managed by the Affinity Health Care that operates a group of nursing facilities in Connecticut and specializes in rehabilitation services and clinical care.

Please do not ever leave a loved one at this facility. They don't care about the people that reside there, so how can they be called care givers? The food isn't as good as school cafeteria food....
