Dick Cooper has lived and worked in Torrington since 1955 servicing electronics and still has his hands in this family business. The business was handed down to son Rich and daughter Sherry and in 2015 making this one of the only true family appliance businesses in the area. Dick Cooper TV & Appliance company has been in business since 1984 and has earned the respect of the community winning the reader's choice award for sales and service. The Cooper family has been active for years in supporting local veterans, the Salvation Army, assisting with operation overflow (homeless shelter) and local food banks and churches and other non-profit organizations.
