My People Clinical Services, located in Hartford, Conn., is an agency providing support to individuals in need. The agency was founded in 2005 and offers a wide range of programs. Its various diverse and culturally competent programs include home-based services, youth mentoring, debriefing, respites services and individualized independent living services and support. The agency also offers services for the teens and adolescents that include short-term emergency foster care stabilization services. It works in collaboration with individuals and their families. It helps in improving the condition of the community through its various support programs and services. In addition, My People Clinical Services operates family life development center.

Wheeler Clinic, founded in 1968, is a unique provider of behavioral health services with an unusually broad array of services and capabilities that includes mental health, substance abuse, special education, early childhood development, prevention and community education. The clinic is accredited by the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations and the American Association of Suicidology. Our programs and services are licensed or approved by the Connecticut Department of Children and Families, Department of Education, the Department of Public Health and Department of Insurance. Wheeler Clinic is a private not-for-profit community organization that is supported by individuals, corporations, foundations, and from third party payers, client fees and public funding sources. Public funders include the Connecticut Commission on National and Community Service, Department of Children and Families, Department of Education, Department of Mental Health and Addiction Services, Department of Developmental Services, Department of Public Health, Department of Social Services, Judicial Branch and the U.S. Center for Substance Abuse Prevention.

Our outpatient locations are in Bristol, Hartford, New Britain, Plainville, Waterbury, our more than 100 community-based programs cover the entire state, and our therapeutic special education day school, Northwest Village School, is in Plainville.
