Hill Health Center provides accessible, comprehensive and quality primary and behavioral health care to low income and underserved residents in the greater New Haven area. Hill Health Center, established in 1968, is a private, nonprofit community health center. Its services, including medical, dental, laboratory, nutrition, nursing, behavioral health and programs for special populations, are provided from 18 locations in the New Haven vicinity. The center is affiliated with Yale-New Haven Hospital and the Hospital of Saint Raphael. Its staff includes internists, Ob/Gyns, pediatricians, psychiatrists, psychologists, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, nurse midwives, registered nurses, LPNs, certified medical technologists, certified phlebotomists, social workers, nutritionists, registered dietitians, dentists and dental hygienists. Among the first community health centers in Connecticut, the Hill Health Center has a history of serving some of the poorest communities in the state.
