About Our Company Founded in 1994, Nubian Directions is the premier agency for developing high quality workforce skills for youth and adults. Our mission is to provide technology training, work readiness skills and educational support services for youth and adults to enhance workforce skills. NDI is best known for its community development activities. 1n 1995, NDI received its first grant through Family Services, Inc to provide computer training and information technology for low-income residents of the City of Poughkeepsie. NDI continues to provide year-round basic, intermediate and advanced computer training and access to the Internet for low to moderate-income youths, adults and small business owners Youth Services ASPIRE ( Academy of Success, Pride, Inspiration, Respect and Excellence ) youth services include after school and summer programs for middle and high school youth ages 15 18. ASPIRE programs incorporate project-based learning opportunities and information technology competency designed to enhance academics, social skills, and career development skills.
