Connecticut Gay Men's Chorus
The Connecticut Gay Men's Chorus, established in 1986, is the first organization of its kind in Connecticut and a proud contributor to LGBT history. Led by Artistic Director Greg McMahan, the chorus maintains a high level of performance standards while infusing their shows with humor and personality. They not only perform at various venues but also support numerous community outreach organizations, raising funds and awareness for social and LGBT programs.
With a commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion, the Connecticut Gay Men's Chorus welcomes men of all orientations to join them in song and fellowship. Through their monthly fundraiser, Bingomania, and the support of donors and sponsors, they are able to keep ticket prices affordable and offer free tickets to LGBT youth, AIDS outreach, and other social outreach programs. For over 35 years, the chorus has been a symbol of powerful performance, community activism, empowerment, and inclusiveness, making it an iconic LGBTQ organization in Connecticut.
