A living Museum with 3 Steam Locomotives, The States finest Mining and Local geology museum, A collection of Tractors going back to the largest Steam Traction engines built, An Industrial hall with Stationary Steam engines and the history of steam power in America, Earth movers, Blacksmith shop, 1860's Schoolhouse as it was in the 1880's, Turn of the century Sawmill and coming soon a cider press operation. What a great place to visit. A tremendous history lesson on machinery and mining in CT. Very informal and informative. Completely dependent on volunteers and donations. Worth stopping by.

This place is so great! My kids loved the mining museum and seeing all the old tractors and farming equipment- can't wait to come back for the fall festival which I've heard is amazing
