Community Systems Inc

Community Systems is a family of nonprofit, tax-exempt corporations that established its first division in Delaware in 1984. It provides case management, employment support, and small group, shared and independent-supported living services. The organization supports people with Prader-Willi syndrome, brain injuries, developmental disabilities, behavioral problems and multiple diagnoses. Community Systems, including Delaware, is comprised of more than four divisions in Connecticut, Massachusetts and Virginia. It also has the Division of Management and Support Services, which focuses on the strategic planning, cross-state corporate policy development, financial management oversight and program evaluation of the organization. Community Systems works on behalf of government agencies in its member states. The organization additionally maintains relationships with nonprofits organizations, government agencies, public schools and corporate businesses. It maintains a location in Torrington, Conn.
