About CVFA This section is just a brief description of the Coventry Volunteer Fire Association and how we fit into the Town of Coventry's emergency response plan. Founded as a private corporation in 1936 we were originally the only fire department in town. The original fire station was located at 1216 Main Street just across from the Bidwell Tavern. The department remained in this station for 64 years until we out grew it. In May of 2000 our new station located across the street from the Coventry Town Hall was officially dedicated. We also expanded our coverage to Station 208 a substation located on the corner of South and Judd road.

The Ashford Volunteer Fire Department Inc. is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit corporation operational since 1950. Based in Ashford, Conn., it is a provider of fire protection services to clients in the Town of Ashford. In addition to its fire responsibilities, the department provides rescue and general emergency services for Ashford and primary emergency ambulance and medical services for the Towns of Ashford and Eastford. The Ashford Volunteer Fire Department also maintains ambulance and rescue mutual aid agreements.

The Broad Brook Fire Department has been proudly serving the East Windsor community since 1896, committed to ensuring the safety and well-being of its residents. With a dedicated team of volunteers, the department engages in various activities including fire safety education and emergency response. The department offers programs such as the Junior Division and the Duty Officer Program, highlighting its focus on community involvement and training.
