Collinsville Halloween Parade in Canton, CT, invites all daring souls to join in the 31st annual Halloween Parade on October 26. The event, conceived by Jon Squier and locals in 1994, transforms the main streets of Collinsville into a spooky spectacle starting at 6:00 p.m.
As dusk falls over the village, the Canton Historical Museum balcony hosts pre-parade festivities with a screaming procession, music, and coveted candy. At 7:00 p.m., the parade kicks off on Main Street, led by the eerie sounds of the Phantom Organist, enticing Halloween enthusiasts to follow the fog and music around The Green.
Judges of Doom roam the streets in search of the most terrifying, creative, and humorous costumes, adding an element of competition to the night. Post-parade, a costume contest awaits ghosts, goblins, and all participants at the balcony for the final judgment of the night's hauntingly good outfits.
