MicroCare Corporation is a privately-held corporation based in New Britain, Connecticut, USA, about 100 miles/150 km northeast of New York City. MicroCare was established in 1983 to meet the demands of industry for precision cleaning systems for the benchtop. The two founders of MicroCare are Christopher A. Jones and Peter E. Jones & Co., Inc Similarly, Mr. Clapp operated Creative Products, Inc, a New Haven-based aerosol company that fills private-label aerosols for the food industry. From time to time, Creative Products purchased products from R. M. Jones & Co. During the normal process of sales and support, Mr. Jones and Mr. Clapp discovered that each firm could help the other develop a new line of aerosols sprays for cleaning electronics. Mr. Clapp would provide the aerosol filling expertise ; Mr. Jones would manage the sales, and between the two experts the proposed company, MicroCare, would flourish.
