The Burrito shack started in Wilton ct in a little shack and moved to Newton ct for a bigger building with seating.

The Burrito Shack is a fast-casual restaurant just celebrating its first year in Newtown with much success. At The Shack our primary goal is to welcome you into our family and to enjoy our culinary delights. Our menu has many options from 'build your own burritos', to our specialty burritos like the Thai spiced crab cake and grilled tilapia. We have tacos (some customers have said our fish tacos are the best they had on the east coast), chimichangas, taco salads, and quesadillas. Some American favorites like burgers, dogs and fries, as well as a kids menu for the little ones, plus our staff is trained to make balloon animals. Here at The Burrito Shack we strive to use all fresh ingredients and make each item to order. If you like things hot, you must try our shack sauce, it's to die for. We have outside dining with rock or country music through the speakers, and we allow BYOB. Plus if you bring in your own tequila, we will make you a mean margarita with our house made mix. And you can't leave without trying a churro or deep fried Oreo!
