Wonderful, local bookstore. I needed a last minute gift and Barrett's saved me! They have a wonderful selection of cards, too.

In 1939 Barrett Bookstore opened for business in Stamford. In 1989 the store relocated to Noroton Heights. In 1997, the business was sold to the Daleys who have substantially increased the staff and the inventory. With a strong commitment to customer service, a knowledgeable friendly staff, and a pleasant shopping atmosphere, Barrett Bookstore remains in business thanks to loyal customer support.

I went into this cute little store several times when I first moved to town. When I asked if they had a certain book, it seemed that I was putting them out. Isn't that what they are there for....
