Averill Farm is a tenth generation family farm located in Washington Depot, CT, offering a variety of fall fruits such as apples and pears, as well as products from local farms including mums, maple syrup, honey, and eggs.
Situated on a picturesque hilltop in the stunning Litchfield Hills of Northwest CT, visitors can also find tomatoes, gourds, squash, and pumpkins at the farm's stand, which is open seasonally from August to December, with earlier availability at local Farmers Markets.

Another apple farm my family took me to during my visit and was nice. It was late in the season so not as colorful, but it was really cool to be surrounded by apple trees and check out their store...

We had a great time applepicking and the orchard was beautiful. The apples were expensive but included a truly memorable experience.

Have faith when signs and your GPS send you up the gravel road: you will ultimately emerge into the glow of Averill Farms' cider donuts. This is a small farmstand that has pick-your-own orchards....
