Ability Beyond Disability

Founded in 1953, Ability Beyond Disability, formerly known as Datahr Rehabilitation Institute, is one of the largest private, nonprofit organization that provides residential services for individuals with disabilities in Connecticut. It provides clinical support solutions, including occupational, speech and physical therapies. The organization administers several residential programs to serve individuals with traumatic brain injuries. Ability Beyond Disability also provides on-site nursing and dietary services. It is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation for Rehabilitation Facilities. The organization works with a team of more than 800 staff members. Ability Beyond Disability serves the residents of California, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Massachusetts, Michigan, Missouri, New York New Jersey, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island and Wisconsin.
